Connor's first belt: white with yellow stripe

On Thursday 20 November 2003, Connor was awarded his first belt after passing the test administered by Master Patrice.
First the whole class did their normal exercises:

                                       


Then he demonstrated his skills to the instructor:
respect, discipline, punching, kicking, jumping, footwork, and pushups
(I had not even known he could do the last!)

                                            


Master Patrice decided that Connor had passed the test
and was now worthy of wearing a belt (the lowest rank of course).
He tied it around Connor's waist himself and led the class in applauding Connor for his achievement.
